Capital FM presented 'The UK's Biggest Christmas Party', in an exclusive TikTok LIVE from The O2. This was a big moment to establish TikTok an entertainment platform, from a brand and operation perspective.

The project was a test to the robustness of our LIVE product, and to break our own records in viewership. We drove traffic to this 2-day concert via a number of entry points: Search, paid media, push/notification, Discover tab, and a H5 microsite.

 

I designed and built a microsite to bring all content and entry points together. It also had a plug-in set up to auto-redirect users to the livestream in real time. 

Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games

In partnership with Channel 4, the official broadcaster of The Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games, TikTok celebrated some of the most iconic sport moments across 13 days of the event.

Similar to the BBC EURO Best Moments hub, I designed and built the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games microsite to host a large quantity of content, updated in real-time.

 

Content was sorted by date, and each content card deep-linked to official Paralympics videos in the 'For You' feed experience, for the shortest user journey possible.

The History of ABBA

In September 2021, ABBA returned with 2 new singles (and eventually a full album). The group onboarded on TikTok and offered exclusive preview of their latest tracks ahead of release.

Strategically, this was an opportunity for TikTok to reach our 35-year-old-and-above users around the globe and potentially acquire new users of this demographics.

I worked with global music, content and marketing teams to design, build and coordinate the localisation of a H5 microsite. The campaign re-told 'The History of ABBA', with a music timeline, playing their biggest hits.
